FITD and the Embassy of Finland organized a panel discussion "Innovations and start-up ecosystem: experiences and best practices from Finland"

The Fund for Innovation and Technology Development in cooperation with the Embassy of Finland for the Republic of North Macedonia, organized a panel discussion “Innovations and start-up ecosystem: experiences and best practices from Finland”, where startup companies from the country had the opportunity to hear the main reasons and points to the success of the Finnish startup ecosystem.

Finland has one of the best developed startup ecosystems, which is ranked 14th on the global startup scene, providing great support for the development of startups with innovative ideas, opportunity for their development and globalization.

At the panel, introductory speeches were given by: Festim Halili, Director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development and – Kimmo Lähdevirta, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in the country. There was an excellent discussion and exchange of knowledge during the panel, in which Finnish experts participated: Olli Sinerma, advisor Business Finland, Janee Sykko, advisor for Southeast Europe at the Embassy of Finland, Teemu Seppälä, advisor Startups Soft Landing, City of Helsinki as well as Igor Madzov from Startup Macedonia.
