Ceremonial opening of the Regional Program Dialogue of the Green Climate Fund (GCF)

DFITD Festim Halili attended today the ceremonial opening of the Regional Program Dialogue of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for Eastern Europe and the Central Asia region, which is being held in Skopje.

We are particularly proud of the fact that the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development is a nominated state institution by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, which started the process of accreditation to the Green Climate Fund. With the successful accreditation, FITD will be the only national body that will have direct access to the financial instruments of the Green Climate Fund and will enable greater support for green investments.

With this step, FITD is actively involved in the global challenge of dealing with climate change and achieving the goals of sustainable development.
