Ka nisur cikli i dytë i programit UPSHIFT, ekipet e shkollave të mesme do të krijojnë zgjidhje për të reduktuar ndotjen e ajrit
Within the framework of the UPSHIFT program, during the next two days, a Bootcamp will be held in Struga, where 10 high school teams under the guidance of mentors will develop air-related innovations. Five teams that will win the competition will receive a prize in the amount of 120,000 denars and a three-month mentorship for the development of social initiatives in their communities.
At the official opening of the event, DFITD Festim Halili congratulated the courage of young entrepreneurs to join the challenge and create solutions that will contribute to a better future for new generations.
“It makes me really proud that through the UPSHIFT program this year we were able to give a large number of young entrepreneurs the chance to work on innovative solutions on a topic that affects us all, especially young people and children, who have the basic right to a healthy environment and a clean air. We at the Fund try to always be open to the initiatives and ideas of our young creative minds and together with the UPSHIFT program we share the same ambition, to create a successful and prosperous generation that will create long-term positive changes. for the whole society. I believe that young people should be given a chance and space and I also believe in their potential and energy to create big changes. To all ten high school teams that are part of this event, I would like to congratulate you on your encouragement and ambition to create new and inspiring ideas that will certainly create positive change for future generations. I am sure that the experience you will gain from this program will bring you new skills, knowledge and of course new friendships.
Regardless of the outcome of this event, look at this as a learning process because there is no greater satisfaction in life than hard work paying off. There is no greater satisfaction than knowing that you are self-made. An entrepreneur is someone who is happy to work and has ambition and desire for success,” said Festim Halili, director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development.
