Meeting of DFITD Festim Halili with the UNDP Resident Representative for the Republic of North Macedonia, Armen Grigorjan

DFITD Festim Halili met with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the Republic of North Macedonia, Armen Grigorjan and the Head of the UNDP Democratic Governance Unit, Biljana Cvetanovska Gugoskaand and the head of the UNDP Inclusive Prosperity Sector, Suzana Ahmeti Janjic.

The meeting focused on the continuation of the joint cooperation between FITD and UNDP, advancing the work of the Fund with the preparation of a new Law on Innovation, preparation of the Gender Equality Plan through which FITD could participate in Horizon Europe, the program for research, development and innovation of the European Union, as well as the continuation of the already started talks with UNDP to provide support in the development of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence.

Part of the conversation was dedicated to the potential cooperation of new public calls that would contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in North Macedonia, realization of new, innovative business ideas and improvement of the business climate.
