Strategic networking, access to technological knowledge and financial support between the two countries was the main topic of today’s visit to the Israeli Innovation Agency, which was made by the director of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development Kosta Petrov and the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs, coordination of economic departments and investments, Fatmir Bytyqi.

During the working meeting with the Director of the Department for International Cooperation Alan Hoffman, who is part of the working visit to Israel, the Incentive Program was discussed, which provides support for foreign companies working with Israeli companies on programs aimed at commercialization for development of new technological products. or to significantly upgrade existing technology.

Namely, the Agency, through the Program, offers grants to enable risk sharing in project financing, and assistance in finding foreign technology partners.

The Director of the Fund Petrov, also presented the activities of the National Startup Council, the new investment portfolio of FITD, the investment fund and the Program for digital nomads.

Deputy Prime Minister Bytyqi and Directors Petrov and Hoffman agreed at the meeting that through the proposed activities, companies from both countries will improve in all areas of research and development based on innovation, and thus help them grow through a global strategic networking system, access to technological knowledge in different countries, to establish a step forward and increase the placement of their products in global markets.
