National AI Strategy
As a result of the global trends in digitalization, at the initiative of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, in September 2021, a working group was formed whose goal is to create the first National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence in the country. The working group includes domestic experts and successful Macedonians who are globally recognized professionals in this field and work in world-renowned companies and universities. The National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence will give a chance to many domestic, innovative startup companies to realize their ideas and projects, appropriate education and access to modern equipment.
The working group is composed of the following:

- Ilija Lalkovski, representative of the private sector (Web Factors)
- Jasmina Majstoroska, representative of the public sector (Ministry of Economy)
- Nikica Kusinikova, member and Viktor Mircevski, deputy member – representatives of the non-governmental sector (Association Konekt)
- Gjorgji Madzarov, representative of the ICT industry (MASIT)
- Bardil Jashari, representative of the non-governmental sector (Metamorphosis Foundation)
- Angel Dzekov, member and Petar Fidanovski, deputy member – representatives of the public sector (MISA)
- Svetlana Kordumova, Private Sector Representative (Pixel)
- Hristijan Gjoreski, representative of the academic community (FEEIT)
- Petre Lameski, representative of the academic community (FINKI)
