DFITD Halili at the presentation of the new investment of the company "NEXT.E.GO MOBILE", which will produce electric e-Go cars in RNM

The director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development, Festim Halili, attended the laying of the foundation stone of the new innovative company “NEXT.E.GO MOBILE”, in the Technology-Industrial Development Zone in Tetovo.

With this investment, for the first time in the automotive industry in the Republic of North Macedonia, a complete car will be produced and for the first time electric e-Go cars will be produced.

Representatives of the Government, as well as the company “NEXT.E.GO MOBILE” and other honored guests addressed the event on the occasion of the presentation of the new investment.

The speakers announced that the investment worth 130 million euros will create 900 jobs in Tetovo and Polog and over 3,000 indirect jobs from local companies that will cooperate directly with the investor. Additionally, it was pointed out that e.GO Company will pay an average gross salary of 1,340 euros.

The government representatives emphasized that with this multi-million dollar investment of the company e.GO in TIRZ Tetovo, a new era begins in the field of foreign investments, but also for citizens to use electric cars.
