This Privacy Policy regulates the manner of collection and processing of your personal data when you visit the website www.fitr.mk, when applying for one of our public competitions for granting funds through the instruments and measures to support the Fund for Innovation and Technology development, when submitting documentation for concluding an agreement for allocation of funds, but also when visiting our premises / offices, which personal data are collected, for what purpose, the way they are processed, stored and protected, the deadline within which they are as well as the rights that you as a subject of personal data have.

During your visit to the website www.fitr.mk when applying for one of our public competitions for granting funds through the instruments of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, when submitting documentation for concluding a contract for granting funds, but also when visiting at our premises / offices we collect only those personal data that are necessary to fulfill our legal obligations and powers.

By accepting the Privacy Policy, you give your personal consent to the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, under the conditions set out below.

Personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Definitions:

  1. “Personal data” is any information relating to an identified natural person or an identifiable natural person (personal data subject), and an identifiable natural person is a person whose identity can be established directly or indirectly, separately based on an identifier such as name and surname, citizen ID, location data, online identifier, or on the basis of one or more characteristics specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity that natural person;
  2. “Personal data processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, or a group of personal data, automatically or otherwise, such as: collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adjusting or modifying; withdrawing, consulting, inspecting, using, disclosing, transmitting or otherwise making available, reconciling or combining, limiting, deleting or destroying;
  3. “Personal data subject” is a natural person whose data are subject to processing by the Fund.
  4. “Authorized person” is a person employed or engaged in the Fund who has authorized access to documents and information and communication equipment on which personal data are processed.
  5. “Personal Data Protection Officer” is a person authorized by the Fund to monitor the compliance of the Fund’s operations with the regulations for personal data protection and with the adopted documentation for technical and organizational measures.

Personal data collected and how it is collected:

1. When visiting the website fitr.mk

When visiting the website www.fitr.mk we usually collect navigation data that are used to analyze the data from the visits to the website as well as to maintain its information security. Data is collected by means of cookies in accordance with the Cookie Policy set out on this page (link).

2. When submitting a complaint to the Fund
When submitting a complaint to the Fund, regardless of whether the complaint was submitted in writing or electronically or through the website www.fitr.mk, you will be asked for name, surname, address, e-mail and contact phone.

The purpose of processing the stated data is to act upon the complaint and examine its merits.

3. When submitting an application for a public competition for allocation of funds through the instruments and measures for support of the Fund

When you visit the website www.fitr.mk and submit an application to the current public competition for awarding funds through the instruments and measures to support the Fund, you will be asked for information about the authorized persons of the applicant, including his partners / shareholders, team members who will be engaged in the project, as follows: name, surname, place of residence, education, experience, e-mail and contact phone.

The purpose of processing the stated data is to assess the eligibility of applicants when applying for an ongoing public competition for funding through the Fund’s instruments and support measures, as well as to determine the experience and qualifications of the team members who are proposed to be engaged in the project. for which it is applied.

Your data is kept by the Fund for 10 years, unless you withdraw your consent.

4. When submitting documentation by the beneficiaries of the Fund before signing the Agreement for allocation of funds through the instruments and measures for support of the Fund

Prior to signing the Agreement for allocation of funds through the instruments and measures for support of the Fund, between the Fund and the beneficiary, the beneficiary shall request appropriate documentation necessary for the preparation of the agreement. You will be asked for information about the user and / or his authorized persons and partners / shareholders, team members who will be engaged in the project and that name: surname, place of residence, education, experience, e-mail and contact phone .

The purpose of processing the stated data is fulfillment of the legal obligation of the Fund for concluding an agreement with the applicants for which a decision for financing has been made, as well as fulfillment of a contractual obligation in general.

5. When visiting our premises / offices

When visiting the premises / offices of the Fund, you may be asked for name, surname, contact phone number and e-mail, in order to timely inform you about future public competitions for which you have expressed interest in visiting the premises / offices or which would you might be interested.

The purpose of processing the stated data is communication with you by the employees of the Fund in order to send information for future public competitions and the like.

6. When contacting the employees of the Fund

When contacting the Fund’s employees, for example by phone, via the Fund’s e-mail address, through social networks, and in connection with your questions, requests and needs, data on name, surname, contact phone and e-mail may be requested.

The purpose of processing the stated data is communication with you by the employees of the Fund in order to answer your questions and requests.

Categories of personal data users

The activities of processing personal data related to the services of the Fund are performed by the employees of the Fund responsible for these services or the persons in charge of performing the activities in question.

We do not share information about you and / or your visit to our website to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • in case of hiring service providers, if the Fund hires them as processors, which will oblige them to act according to the instructions of the Fund and provide protection of the personal data that are processed during the provision of those services; and
  • at the request of a court, police or other authorities and bodies to exercise their powers and only if there is a legal basis for it.

Storage time of collected data

The data we collect are stored in accordance with the law and the period required to achieve the purpose of processing and are determined in the (review) with deadlines for storage of personal data of the Fund.

Rights of the personal data subject

Your rights regarding the processing of personal data are:

  • the right to be informed about the processing of personal data
  • right of access to personal data
  • the right to correct and delete personal data
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data
  • right to object

The Fund is obliged to respond to the request of the personal data subject within 15 days from the day of receipt of the request. If the Fund has responded once to the request of the entity, it is not obliged to respond again to the same or similar request, if in the meantime there are no changes in the personal data, unless six months have passed from the day of submitting the previous request to the new request.

The given consent for personal data processing can be withdrawn by you at any time by sending a request for withdrawal of the consent to the e-mail address of the controller and / or the personal data protection officer or to the address of Fonodt – GTC local 6 D.E. 220, Skopje. Upon receipt of the request to revoke the consent, your personal data will be deleted.

Right to submit a request to the Agency for Personal Data Protection

If you consider that the manner in which the Fund processes your personal data violates the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection, you can submit a request to the Agency for Personal Data Protection as a supervisory body, in accordance with Article 97 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Changing privacy policy

The Fund reserves the right at any time to amend or supplement this Privacy Policy by posting an updated version on the Fund’s website and on the Fund’s premises.
