For the second time, the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development (FITR) supported the prestigious international event - International Fair of Inventions, Innovations and New Technologies "InovaMak 2019". The organizer of the fair is the National Association of Inventors of Macedonia (NAIM), and the patron is the World Federation of Innovative Associations (IFIA).
Traditionally, the State Office of Industrial Property (SOIP) awards three cash prizes in the category of registered or protected patent and design, female innovator and young innovator during the Fair. The purpose of the awards is to support inventors in their creation and their motivation in creating inventions that will be successfully realized in the market.
"By encouraging innovation and talent in our country, we directly contribute to the development of society, progress and economic development. At the same time, we are creating conditions for young people to realize their ambitions here in our country. That is why such events are very important and we will continue to strongly support them, "said Goran Gerasimovski, Deputy Director of SOIP.
The representatives of the Fund encouraged the participants in the event to commercialize their innovative ideas, and to apply to one of the instruments of the Fund.
"The focus of FITR is placed especially on the young population, so we create programs and public calls that encourage young people and support their innovative and creative ideas. The concept of creativity and innovation starts from them, which one day grows into business and entrepreneurship," said Neda Ikonomov Gavrilovska on behalf of FITR.
Over a hundred innovators from more than 20 countries will present their creative and innovative ideas at the third International Fair of Inventions, Innovations and New Technologies "Inovamak 2019" held in Skopje from 24 to 26 September.
