FITD and Stopanska Banka AD Skopje facilitate financing of innovative companies
Facilitated access to finance for all micro, small and medium enterprises is provided through the Memorandum of Cooperation signed by the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development and Stopanska Banka AD Skopje.
The opportunities apply to beneficiaries of FITD co-financed grants, who need additional financial support, as well as to companies that have applied for one of the FITD calls and have not been approved for funding by the Fund.
“A few months ago, the essential cooperation of FITD with the banking sector was just an idea and today with the six largest banks in the country we facilitate the development path of Macedonian startups and jointly contribute to the development of the domestic economy. I believe that through the partnership of FITD with Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje, we will increase the number of new startup companies and encourage investment, with the ultimate goal to start a business in our country and be successful in world markets. The project proposals we receive in public calls show that we have great motivation to continue working intensively on the needs of the startup community and finding solutions to facilitate the placement of their ideas” said Kosta Petrov, director of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development.
The package of the bank offers basic and purpose transaction account for making payments in the domestic payment operations, without fee for opening an account, account overdraft in mkd with a minimum commission for approval, access to E-banking and M-banking services and preferential commissions for transactions through E-banking service up to 70% lower than those over the counter but also VISA business card without fee for annual membership fee for the first year of use. Additionally, the Bank can offer loan lines, short-term and medium-term loans for working capital financing, long-term loans for financing investments with promotional conditions, as well as a dedicated advisor for business clients.
