DFITD Festim Halili addressed a panel discussion within the Skopje Economic and Financial Forum - SEFF 2022

DFITD Festim Halili addressed the panel discussion “Financial Innovation and Investments in Uncertainty” within the Skopje Economic and Financial Forum – SEFF 2022, organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia.

In his address, DFITD Festim Halili emphasized that the financing for green investments is in the focus of the Fund’s work for the next period.

“We are especially proud that the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development, based on a decision by the Government, becomes the first entity in the Republic of North Macedonia to initiate an accreditation procedure by the Green Climate Fund in order to access the funds of the GCF. As a central institution that supports micro, small and medium enterprises, with developed and established practices for creating support instruments, FITD will use the funds provided by the GCF for grants to co-finance SMEs for climate change projects, as well as for other forms of financing climate change projects”.
